RetroBrands: Fashionable Collegiate Clothing That Won’t Hurt the Wallet

The other day I received a daily email from Groupon, not that unusual.  I  just browse through the gadgets, gizmos, cosmetics, discount massages and what not.  I always click on clothing because you really never know what you are going to find.  What I found a few weeks ago was a treasure trove of collegiate apparel excellence…

This may be my new go to site for t-shirts and apparel.  Here are the reasons why:

1. Made in the USA

I have been consciously trying to only buy items (when I can) that are made in America.  I am sick and tired of sending my money to people in foreign lands when MILLIONS of my fellow citizens are out of  work.  Well done guys…WELL DONE!

2. They Have A Great Selection of Schools to Choose From

Yeah, you won’t be able to find that small liberal arts college your dad went to back in the 70’s, but you will find great “retro” looking shirts for well known schools.

3. They’re More Than Just Colleges and Universities

NHL fan?  You may be in another lock out because of greedy players/owners but you won’t be locked out of great styles of your favorite NHL teams.

Baseball fan?  They have current and former Minor League apparel.  They also pay homage to the Negro League teams.

Rock ‘n Roll shirts, pop culture, odd/old beer companies, and even plain white t’s (no not the band, sorry) are for sale!

4. They Have That Soft, Gentle, Fluffy Feel to Them Everyone Wants In A T-Shirt

They do not insure your girlfriend taking it on you to wear to bed on those nights when you can’t be  there.

Where can you find them?
